Thursday, September 9, 2021, 12:30 p.m. Lincoln Hall, Cornell University. Solo piano recital: Works of Roberto Sierra to include Piezas Líricas, Album for the Young, and Estudios rítmicos y sonoros.

October 15-18, 2021. Annual festival of the American Liszt Society, “Liszt and Hungary.” I am the organizer of this annual event, to include a concert by the “Gypsy Stringz,” performances of the complete Liszt Hungarian Rhapsodies, and a rich variety of solo and chamber music performances and presentations related to this Hungarian theme by performers and scholars across the globe. Sunday, October 17, 2021, 8:00 p.m. Rapsodia by Miklós Kocsár, with David Jackson, trombone, and Ian Antonio, percussion. Part of a concert which also features Bartók’s Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion, and Brahms’s G minor Piano Quartet. All on the Faculty Chamber Music concert from the American Liszt Society festival “Liszt and Hungary,” which I have organized.

Sunday, October 24, 2021, 12:00 noon. Recital to include music of Albéniz and Sierra. Auditorio Manuel de Falla in Granada, Spain. After the recital, we will record a CD of music by Roberto Sierra in de Falla Hall for IBS Classical.

Tuesday, January 25, 2022, evening. Performance of Trio in D minor by Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel and Trio in C minor by Felix Mendelssohn, with Aaron Berofsky, violin, and John Haines-Eitzen, cello. Britton Hall, University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance.

Part of the Westfield Center of Historical Keyboard Studies’s conference “Diversity and Belonging: Unsung Keyboard Stories” conference. Friday, March 18, 2022, 7:30 p.m.  Recital, Scarab Club of Detroit on an 1880s Pleyel piano. Music of Chopin, Liszt, Chaminade, Fauré, Albéniz, Debussy, Ravel, and Franck.

Sunday, May 22, 2022, evening.  Opening recital of the University of Michigan Early Keyboard Insitute (UMEKI). Repertoire TBD will feature the instruments of the Stearns Collection, to include the newly acquired instruments of the Charles West Wilson collection.
