Annual festival of the American Liszt Society, “Liszt and Hungary.” I am the organizer of this annual event, to include a concert by the “Gypsy Stringz,” performances of the complete Liszt Hungarian Rhapsodies, and a rich variety of solo and chamber music performances and presentations related to this Hungarian theme by performers and scholars across the globe. Sunday, October 17, 2021, 8:00 p.m. Rapsodia by Miklós Kocsár, with David Jackson, trombone, and Ian Antonio, percussion. Part of a concert which also features Bartók’s Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion, and Brahms’s G minor Piano Quartet. All on the Faculty Chamber Music concert from the American Liszt Society festival “Liszt and Hungary,” which I have organized.
